J Kelly Stewart

Principal, Director of Training & Workshops

Kelly draws upon more than 25 years of public and private sector experience as a Chief Security Officer; an international, physical security operations practitioner; and a security risk management advisor.

In these capacities he has led multi-national security risk management operations and complex physical security programs that have enabled executives to focus their organizations on core competencies where they can achieve definable advantages and add value to their client base thus facilitating and protecting strategic advantages they have in the marketplace.

Kelly’s belief is that proactive, predictive, and responsive advice and access to information critical in building a companies’ resilience to operational risk creates an atmosphere for protecting people and assets properly.  Kelly is a key leadership advisor and business partner in developing and executing security strategies in support of overall organizational resiliency.

Steve Albano

Steve Albano

Principal, Director of Critical Infrastructure Protection

Steve Albano holds a bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminology from The Ohio State University and a Master’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore. He is a seasoned professional with over 27 years of experience as a Senior Special Agent with the United States Secret Service. He concurrently served in numerous capacities: supervised a multi-agency Financial Crimes Task Force comprised of local, state and federal agencies; developed and executed high-level complex protective plans/advances for the President/Vice President of the United States, as well as high-level foreign dignitaries. Steve also served as an academy Lead Instructor and as a Field Investigator.

After retiring from the United States Secret Service, he worked as a Key Account Manager with FARO Technologies in the Public Safety division, utilizing 3D laser scanning technology for Critical Infrastructure Protection.

David Nicastro

David Nicastro

Board Advisor, Security

David Nicastro, CFE and CPP, is a seasoned security professional with more than 28 years of experience, specializing in physical security risk and vulnerability assessments. Dave is a published author and has appeared as an expert commentator on network news programs. He is an expert in Chemical and Petrochemical security operations management. Dave is focused on creating value for clients by consistently providing high-quality security services around the world.

Following a distinguished career that took the former Marine Security Guard and member of the U.S. Secret Service from his post outside the U.S. Embassy in Beirut to the White House and, ultimately, into the highest echelons of corporate America, today Dave is recognized throughout the security industry for his expertise in security risk mitigation and management.

 

Matt Hewko

Matt Hewko

Technical Director, Software Trainer, Drone Pilot

Matt is the lead 360 Reality Capture and software instructor for Visual Plan. He has extensive experience in survey using various methods including drones, total station, GPS, 3D laser scanners and 360 imaging technologies.

Matt retired with 15 years of police experience from a major Police Service in Ontario, Canada. He has dedicated ten years to traffic safety with the last seven as the team leader in the Collision Reconstruction Unit.

Matt’s role as a Detective Constable within his office was to ensure all members had the proper training, equipment and other resources to investigate motor vehicle collisions that involve life threatening and fatal injuries. He has attended various other crime scenes that included homicides, shootings, railway and industrial incidents. Matt has become an expert within the Federal and Provincial courts with respect to reconstruction and the involved investigations.

After leaving policing Matt became a software trainer for IMS Map 360, Pix4D, and LTI’s TruPoint and TruPulse systems.
